NetEase Cloud App Design

This individual project is an App design based on NetEase Cloud Music App, which is a Chinese music App that does not have a English version. I wanted to create a more efficient and better platform for users to enjoy listening music, buying tickets of music activities and events, and watching live concerts.

User Research

Congrui Yuan lives in Beijing with her family. Congrui's idol Jackson Yee would held online concert because of COVID-19. This time, Congrui finally had chance to attend her idol's online concert because everyone had the same possibility to buy tickets this time without any other professional ticket sellers. The challenges she had was that it was complicated and hard to connect the Wi-Fi and use screen mirroring in order to watch the online concert on TV. Also, it was not convenient that she had to stay in the app for screen mirroring, or TV would stop playing the live concert.

Vision Statement

1. Any solution must make the page of NetEase Cloud Music App to be more clear and straightforward for her to find the place of ticket selling more conveniently.

2. Any solution must develop the function of screen mirroring of this App so that she can quit the App and use other Apps while screen mirroring without pausing it.

3. Any solution should develop the interface of TV in order to find wifi info and screen mirroring more conveniently.

Storyboard

1. Melody is very stressful these days, she wants to watch an online concert to relax herself.

4.The online concert ticket is on her account page. On the concert day, she clicks the ticket and it leads her to the live video interface.

7. Her friend texts her and she needs to leave the App and go to the other app to reply her friends.

2. Melody opens the music App. The banners shows all the recent online concerts. Then, she finds one that she really wants to watch it.

5. She wants to watch the concert on bigger screen, so she clicks ‘screen mirror’ on remote control to find pairing device.

8. She clicks the button to let TV keep playing the live concert, and she replies her friend‘s message on the other App successfully.

3. She clicks the concert that she wants to watch, and the payment process is easy for her to complete buying the concert ticket.

6. Then, she clicks the screen mirroring button on the live video interface of the App, and the two

devices pair successfully.

9. She texts with her friends while watching the online concert happily.

Also, I developed the function of screen mirroring of this App so that users can quit the App and use other Apps while screen mirroring without pausing it. In addition, I developed the interface of TV in order to find Wi-Fi information and screen mirroring more conveniently.
